We will honor this year’s worthy Scholarship finalists with a $15,000 scholarship. You can change a life forever. We are striving to make college dreams come true by providing our scholars not only with the necessary financial support, but the kind of support that money can’t buy; that of caring Houstonians who believe in their ability to succeed. We need your help! It is our hope that a partnership with you will result in a room filled to capacity with members of our community who understand and value the critical role that education plays in changing the lives of these young men and women. We are a non-Profit 501(c)(3) an the Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund’s mission is unique in the Houston area because we: “support mid-level high school students from difficult backgrounds, who through no fault of their own do not have the support they need to access higher education.” Since 1991, the Scholarship Fund has awarded $1,843,000 in scholarships to 235 students. Currently, 132 scholars are enrolled in institutions of higher learning; 86 have obtained their college degrees.
